I followed all the instructions here accordingly, including making 10 rows altogether but somehow it was too small for me, so I added more rows and ended it the way you showed in this video. It's so simple yet pretty.

I have a partner who doesn't like when we watch a movie and I crochet, it's not that hard to stop crocheting, because men don't understand that you can do two things at ones. And if you replace a crochet project with a phone, you would see that as a disrespect. I believe you can watch some movies without crocheting. Same thing with concerts.

I could only imagine someone trying to tell me not to crochet while doing something like watching TV. I watch UA-cam and TV all the time while I crochet! And if someone is talking to me I pause just because I for some reason can't talk and crochet 🤷🏽‍♀️ My fiance is a big fidgeter and has to do something else while we watch shows and stuff and we joke with each other about what we're watching lol but never seriously unless I'm talking to him and he just flat out zones out and ignores me then I do quiz him after staring at him for minutes on end waiting 😂 Also just to let you know that "holding toes" 😖 that visual, no thank you ma'am. Haha

You are definitely NOT then ass hole for turning down any project, especially if they’re expecting it for free!! I’ve turned down projects before, simply because i think they are too hard for me or because i feel like i cant charge an appropriate amount without it being a fortune for my friend. If they’re really your friend, they wouldnt expect a giant project for free, they would WANT to pay you for your work. and if they’re really your friend, they wouldn’t try pitying you into making something that is unrealistic for you to actually make, they would value your honesty.

The story about the guy getting jealous of his girlfriend’s crochet is funny to me because my boyfriend and I are the same ages as them (we’ve been together for about 7 months) and I crochet while we watch TV together too. We’ve been watching his favorite series (he’s seen it 4 times, I never have) and just last week as he was setting it up, before he pressed play he turned to me and asked “do you have something to crochet? Do you want to grab it first?” We cuddle while I crochet. I also choose not to crochet sometimes to give him my full attention. While he plays video games, I crochet and we’ll take breaks and talk about his game or my project. On long drives, I crochet if he’s driving. Sometimes I won’t so I can hold his hand instead. It is possible to humor each other with your respective hobbies and spend quality time together simultaneously, but sometimes it should be set aside to have one on one time. The guy is weird but also not COMPLETELY wrong (but def like 99% wrong and still definitely the asshole)

Random Video Idea: Put together a list of crochet/knit/fiber arts slang, acroynyms, etc. and ask Cesar to define said slang/acroynm/etc

I love this kinda format. And i love those am i the asshole stories which is weird bec i never go to reddit. But the bf who was jealous of yarn & a crochet hook is just bananas!! Its giving very much “im insecure and i need validation from my partner every moment of every day”. She needs to let that go. The "knitting hook" guy doesn't even know if those "random squares" are going to become a jumper for him, he needs to chill a bit. Yes he does have a pont thy she doesn't need to do that so often in their personal time but also he could request for hwr to limit it in a better way and alsp bother to take some interest in it himself. You can't come into someone's life and so early on expect them to fuly alter it to fit around your wants, you need to compromise somw of what you like to fit what your partner would like and they need to compromise some of what they like to fit what you like too. Does he compromise any of his activities for her? We don't know, he's too busy ranting. I wouldn't say either of them are the a-hole, just that they need to work with each other and conversate a bit more.
